Come check out Thrall & Dodge tasting room with mom for this Mother's Day weekend needle felting special! Learn the techniques to create an adorable woodland black bear.
Needle felting is the art of binding raw wool fibers using a specially barbed needle. Continued, deliberate poking of the wool allows the fibers to firmly lock onto one another, thereby creating a more solid and lasting fabric. In this session you will learn to sculpt as you felt, building up the fibers to create body shapes. I will guide you through the process of making separate wool parts and attaching them together, finishing by adding final touches and details.
Specially priced tuition is for two guests (mom plus one) and includes your first beverage and 2 beginning needle felting kits (normally 3-6 hours to complete) with all the materials you will need to create your sculpture. Individual tickets are also available…
