About the event
Learn all you need to know to get started needle felting while enjoying locally curated wines from Thrall & Dodge Winery (non alcoholic beverages provided for those under 21). I will teach you how to use needle felting techniques in order to create your own set of 3 wool dryer balls, decorated as whimsical bees and/or lady bugs.
Wool dryer balls should be a little larger than the size of a tennis ball and take a lot more wool to create than many felted sculptures. They make an excellent alternatinave to chemical dryer sheets; and they last longer too! When felted correctly, dryer balls can last up to 5 years, keeping your clothes fresh and helping them dry more quickly.
Your first glass of wine (or non alcoholic beverage) from Thrall & Dodge is included in your tuition, as well as a beginning needle felting kit with all the materials…
